as a side note:
as you may have seen on the mmc site, the deployment is delayed for a week after a few problem arouse with the hosting server. the development team *ahem* are currently working on it. please look forward to the site beta launch on Monday, May 19,2008.
for the real issue:
the features that will be on the site are the least that the development team could do given the resources and the time frame we had. its very limited and dismal at best. the development team is pondering on a v2 for the site and we promise
that it will be a lot nicer than the one that will go up this monday. for that note, we would like to ask you for any suggestions you have for future features of the site.
some that we are considering are:
> a profile page for each member of the site containing information about the member(this is much like the profile page of friendster but with a little less content)
> a ym like application
any suggestion would be appreciated...

really? we're diong a ym like application? ain't that cool. coz as of now, there are no members aside from us. nobody is interested! surprise!

oh good. also, we're going to start from scratch with version 2 of the website. we're thinking about using CSS frameworks too. and using code igniter for the site, and we'll probably use a content management system as well.
i hope we can really get immersed in a project that involves much use of a framework (maybe kohana or codeIgniter) so that we'll have enough experience to make the version 2 easily.
there's a really easy framework to set up, maybe you can check it out alex. it's SilverStripe. i'm gonna look into it maybe i'll try making my own site from it.
